The Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) is on its way to becoming the largest museum in India and South Asia, with a monumental new site under construction near Aerocity, New Delhi. KNMA has set a record with the largest vinyl wrap signage in Asia, certified by the Asia Book of Records. This massive wrap, installed on the boundary wall of the upcoming museum, spans over 20,000 square feet. The museum, once completed, will cover more than 1 million square feet, becoming the region’s largest cultural and art destination. It will feature expansive galleries, state-of-the-art auditoriums, and dedicated spaces for education, research, and community engagement. The museum is set to open by 2027.
The vinyl wrap signage took 12 days, 2,160 man-hours, and the use of four cranes to complete. Showcasing vibrant designs and artworks, it offers the people of Delhi a glimpse of the museum taking shape behind it—a celebration of imagination, passion, and the grandeur of Indian art and culture.
Since 2010, KNMA’s museums in Saket and Noida have been home to modern and contemporary Indian art, showcasing the personal collection of Mrs. Kiran Nadar. With free admission and a range of public programs, KNMA continues to inspire and celebrate India’s rich artistic heritage. …...more
